They are pleated filtering cells at medium efficiency, cheap but strong and they are composed of a self-extinguishing (F1 according to DIN 53438) synthetic fibre filtering media, kept by two zinc-plated wire nets and boxed into a 6/10 mm zinc-plated sheet frame. The pleating according to which the nets and media are fitted ensures a real filtering surface by two to three times higher than the frontal surface of the cell.



They are used either as final filters or as pre-filters to filters having higher efficiency (like LOM-BAG pockets filters, rigid pockets or activated carbon filters) in ventilation and air treatment units, when it is necessary to combine good air flows with reduced passage sections.



The filter mats normally used make them suitable to retain coarse dust particles (PM10).
The filtration class of the mattresses used to make CZ filters is G3 according to EN 779:32012 Standards. For CZQ and CZS (with reinforced grids) the mattress is G4.

The limit working temperature is 90°C approx.
The CZ, CZQ and CZS filtering cells can be supplied with different dimensions and thicknesses from the standard above ones and with mattresses having different compositions (glass fibers, polyurethane foam etc) and/or performances.



The CZ, CZQ and CZS filters can be installed into C-shaped guides or into holding frames at frontal access. Replace or regenerate the cells once having reached a resistance of 200÷250 Pa. Clean by shaking (in case of rough and dry dust) or by counter current air or by warm water and cleaning agent.
